Public (Tokyo BOE)[]
- All metropolitan public school JETs are required to attend the trainings conducted by the Tokyo BOE. Due to the large number of JETs, the trainings are split into 2 sessions. Please confirm with your supervisor/VP as to which session you have been assigned.
Attendance is mandatory. If you will be unavailable during either or both training sessions, you will be required to make up the training. Dates are subject to change*

This year the Tokyo BOE will be holding open class observations at several schools. JETs can volunteer to attend one class observation.

- Private school JETs will be required to attend a Professional Development Conference once a year. Although it was previously understood that this conference was not compulsory for re-appointed JETs, it IS actually compulsory for BOTH new and re-appointed JETs!
