Tokyo JET Wikia

Tokyo JETs will receive disaster preparedness training as part of the prefectural orientation. This training will include preparation for what to do in the event of an earthquake, a fire, a tsunami, and a typhoon.

Please take the same precautions in Japan that you would in your home country. Make sure that you obtain your school supervisor’s contact numbers in case of emergency.

Register with your home country embassy and familiarize yourself with your neighborhood’s designated safety area.
