  • Slips of paper for Final Jeopardy

Procedure[]

  1. Prep: Download the template, and insert your own Qs and As, or use the ready-made Quiz.
  2. Separate the students into groups, 3-4 students per group works nicely.
  3. From the main page, ask the students to pick a category and value, then click on the corresponding hyperlink to reveal the question.
  4. Read the question aloud, and select a team to answer.
  5. If a group answers correctly they then win an amount of points equal to the value of the question answered. If not then another team gets a chance to answer.
  6. Once a group correctly answers, click the "Answer" button to reveal the answer.
  7. Explain the answer and then click the home button to repeat the process.
  8. Daily Double- A special round where the students may wager all of their points or up to 1000 in credit before seeing the question. If they answer correctly the groups wins a number of points equal to their wager. If they answer wrong their wager is subtracted from their total score.
  9. Final Jeopardy- The same wager rules apply as for the Daily Doubles however all groups have the opportunity to wager and answer the question. To do so groups must write their consensus on a piece of paper and pass it to the teachers at the end of the answering period. Click on the yellow diamond to access this slide.

Variations[]

  • This game can be played without the inclusion of Final Jeopardy and the Daily Doubles.
  • For a challenge: You may choose to subtract points from group scores equal to the value of the question for wrong answers.
  • For an easier time: You may choose to not subtract points for Daily Double and Final Jeopardy wagers in the case of a wrong answer.
